I ride a Trek road and 29er. I actually went through 2 other road bikes first because I did not want a TREK since they are everywhere and I wanted something different.

BUT, the bottom line is....... the Trek WSD bikes fit my body best and are most comfortable. So there it is. If it fits--ride it -- you can always repaint it, if you don't like the looks anyway.
