Built one Fixed Gear bike and spent some time riding another. Fixed Gear bicycles are not for me.
I like the option of multiple gearing. I love, absolutely love, the feel of freedom, as I coast down, across, and even up sometimes. Anyway, each to his own and, for what it is worth "dude" or "dudette", I prefer much of the younger generation's language, when compared to Shakespear's old and flowery manner of speaking, and writing. Of course, that is just me.
All that said, each to his own. Personally, I don't criticize the other guy, or gal, for being the way they are.
