Still Pedaling - The worst scuffs were just around the protruding bits that the box didn't protect. If you look at the big photo of the box picture you can see holes in the box. I'm not too torn up about the scratches. I know you worked closely with a local bike shop to get your Brompton but did you get to see what the packaging was like?
I'm glad to hear that the scuffing is not going to defuse the enjoyment of your new bike. By the way, I love the color. It would go well with some of my shirts

I didn't get to see the packing used for my Brommie as it was already assembled. They had the bike folded and up on a display shelf. As soon as my wife and I saw the color we said -- "That's the one we want". So off the shelf it came, all tuned and spiffed up ready to ride.
Keep us posted on how you are enjoying riding the new Cricket, and don't forget to post some pics.
