I was cleaning the garage this morning an found some drop bars. I think they may have come on my Gitane TdF. I recall throwing them in the trash and then having second thoughts and digging them out. They have more level ramps and shallower drops than the bars that came on my PX10. The clamp size is 25mm, so they're definitely French. They're incredibly narrow at 40mm. That's why I threw them away. I remember thinking that they must have been made for a lady or a child. I have abnormally wide shoulders (Hungarian peasant stock), but I think I'll try them anyway. I know the theory is that the bars should be shoulder-wide, but it's just a theory.
