As follows and not in any particular order of importance other than sooner than later:
- Gloves
- Helmet
- Water bottle/cage
- Biking specific shorts
- Biking specific jerseys
- Socks
- Air chuck with CO2
- Spare tubes (2 to keep on hand)
- Small patch kit self-adhesive type like Park Tool brand
- Sunglasses to protect eyes while riding of course
- Decent floor pump to top off tires because they deflate with no use in days sometimes
That should get you on a great start for sure. Some say obessesive on my part.............I say mandatory that you can build on later.
If you also bought your bike at a LBS hopefully they gave you lifetime drivetrain adjustments. Most do now days because it is really nothing to do so but nice for those that cannot mech their own bikes.
Good luck and I know your anxious and happy! Congrats on the bike and ride safely yet ride it like you stole it!
