Yeah, get more opinions. If they all agree, take time off. But somewhat like John above, I'm missing at least half my right ACL. (MRIs weren't generally done at the time -- the only way they could be sure was exploratory surgery, which I was only going to do if PT failed). By the time I was done with PT, the half-an-ACL knee was the stronger one. It probably isn't any more, but it's still strong enough that cycling is never hard enough to fry it to the point of that jelly sensation. (Other types of exercise can, if I overdo it -- hiking over rough terrain, especially.)
