New CX bikes are usually introduced around August or September, so I'm not sure you'd see clearance deals until then. Of course, that's also the beginning of CX racing season, so they could get scooped up quickly. We've got lots of shops around here and a few of them usually have a bike or two leftover from previous years but it certainly limits the selection if you go for that.

If you want a deal, it's probably better to buy used in January or so.
