This was my assessment based on some test drives. lighter feel, better modulation, and better stopping power. I have the stock Tektro's adjusted for about the best performance I can get from them (save for some good pads) and I dont think they have the feel the 105's had.

Seems to be a consensus that the 105's are better. I will say that the Tektro work - meaning they are reliable, hold their adjustment, and stop me when I need to stop. No worries there. I will see how they perform with better pads, but I suspect that an upgrade to 105s is in my future.....
