Every aspect of design was revised for 6800. Most notably? Ergonomics of new Ultegra shifters is light years ahead...but also shifting + 1 more gear.
Get the Roubaix SL4 with 6800 and come back and review it. I would have gone Roubaix SL3 with DA in 2012 when I bought mine but hated
DA 7900 which for all intents had the same limitations of 6700...so went frameset and built with Campy. New Shimano is completely redesigned...just like new Red is a quantum leap improvement over previous gen. Ergos now between the big three groupset mfrs is a jump ball. Latest groupset performance has never been more competitive or better among big three.
+1 on this. I have the 9000 series and can happily say that everything is 5 steps better than previous 7900. Since the 6800 is from the same mold would be a great purchase. If the 2013 model was Significantly cheaper I might look at it but if this bike is going to be your primary for many years....
