Thank you for finding that. I would assume that is the bar he mentioned. The center part looks like it would turn allowing for tightening. Shame it had to have those ridges though. It prevents many items from being attached, especially those larger items like the Garmin 810 for example. It requires a quarter turn on its mount. Unless its mounted at the center of the bar, the upright portion of the bar would get in the way when the Garmin and other like sized items are attached (1/2 turn). I was hoping that the crossbar attachment would allow for center mounted accessories. Looks like I'm back to the drawing board.

Items like an iPhone would be difficult to attach to the M bar of the Brompton. I'm finding it difficult locating some sort of bar that will allow for an iPhone mount to be attached to the M bar and not be impeded by the bars uprights. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have to keep in mind that whatever bars/mounts I use, it would have to be positioned in a way that it won't prevent the handlebars from being folded properly.

Edit: Another concern is the location of all the cables, especially those for the two shifters. They can't be moved out of the way very much.
