Back in NYC and using the Citibikes again this week. Despite living in Portland OR, I'm actually getting my money's worth out of my Citibikes membership!

Here is a question for those who know the ins and outs of the system. How do they identify a particular bike, for maintenance records etc? Do they have bar codes or ID numbers somewhere that I haven't noticed?
