There is a pretty large 5-digit number in white printed on the chain guard of each Citibike, like "00375" (which is a bike I have had access to ). I believe that's the id of the particular bike. In fact I keep looking for "00375" whenever I see people riding Citibikes . I'm surprised that you didn't notice it after getting your "money's worth" out of the membership.
