Hello guys, I'm living in a relatively small college town and I'm looking to buy some decent bike, willing to spend up to $200-300. Right now I'm checking the craiglists and saw this pretty Raleigh Passage 5.5 in like new condition:

I started bargaining with the seller, but he is asking for more than $300, which I feel is too much for the bike. What do you think? I'm new here, so not sure how to proceed with my purchase - want to get something with which to be happy years for years to come, but unfortunately can't afford to spend a fortune.
