Rowan builds our bicycles, so they're all parts. This year, so far, we haven't spent much ... probably less than $1000. We're sort of taking a little breather between building up 2 new touring bicycles for our Round the World trip last year, and the possibility of getting two new folding bicycles next year.
This post shows that even truly heroic cyclists (like you and Rowan) don't have to spend a lot of money to have some amazing accomplishments. One thing I love about cycling is that you can have a great time whether you spend $100 or $10,000.
