I'm in a similar dilemma though you are way ahead of me in getting it down to 2 choices. I wish it was easier to narrow down the dizzying array of choices both in LBS and bikes that they carry. As suggested though if you find them both equal price would be the deciding factor. It would probably be excellent if you could demo both bikes and take them on something like your regular ride to see if there is a difference as others have suggested.
I'll watch this space to see what you decide as both of those bikes are on my extensive list of bikes to test ride
