+10 I will pick up ANY bike in the trash, and either donate to my favorite thrift store, the local co-op, or refurbish it.
I used to audit landfills in my job as a factory manager. It is disgusting here in the USA the amount of recyclable/reusable stuff that ends up in the landfill. Drive south in Florida on I 95, all of a sudden you see a freakin mountain. In Florida no less. Huh? There are no mountains in Florida. Then you realize, its a damn landfill.
Hopefully Holland is a lot better in this regard.
