I also have the Trek 820, I paid $219 from my LBS - with a full tune up within the year. I've got almost 1,000 miles on it and can't believe how good its been - plus how good it is to be back into cycling.

I'm riding FatBoy slicks (100lb), Ritchie pedals with a buddies old but not worn out shimano shoes. Cateye Astrale 8 computer (cadence version) I ride 10-35 miles about every 2nd or third day
