I wear a jersey and bike shorts because it makes my 34-mile round trip commute more comfortable, especially in the heat when I'm sweating. I use clipless pedals because I like being able to use the full pedal stroke (my commute is very hilly) and I have no problem clipping out when I need to stop.

Frankly, I could care less what people think when they see me riding my Sirrus to work in a "full kit". I'm just focused on getting to work or home.
