Need some help from you DIY'ers for my rear rack

Hello everyone,

I've been having a bit of a problem with a couple of sets of panniers nearly touching the spokes on the rear wheel. Below is a pic of my bike and it's stock rear rack which I prefer NOT to change since it has integrated fender and electrics for the rear light. The problem is that on a couple of sets of panniers which I own (soft backed ones) the rear of the panniers are not supported by the rack and have a tendency to flop inwards towards the spokes.

I would like to add some sort of support to the rack (like the one pictured below) so I won't end up having a pannier sucked into the spokes, so any solutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
