I want to get a shorter stem with a little less rise for my 2005 Trek 1000. Ebay seems to have some good deals on slightly used stems, but I am not sure of the diameter of my headset. I think it is 1 1/8, but I don't have calipers to measure it exactly. Does anyone know for sure?
