spare_wheel, where are you coming up with "slow and bouncy bad boy" and "go with the trek 7.5... is far lighter and more nimble..." The specs don't indicate that. Myself, I would go with the Bad Boy, if for no other reason than to get away from the "everybody owns one" FX series.
