It looks like almost all the roads for the fall double in death valley are still open. Scottys Castle rd, Daylight pass, and the 190 are open, but the road out to the crater is probably barricaded off. Furnace creek is on private property, so the food/lodging is all still going to be open. Do you know if there was any storm damage to those 3 roads? Scotty's castle rd had a couple miles under mud, but it was still passable.

So, in the highly unlikely case the shutdown is still in effect in 3 weeks I'll still be going on there and will just bring a camelbak and do a shorter ride myself.

Also, I doubt the adventure corps ride contract says they have to refund...that's almost unheard of from what I understand.
