The rear dropouts, where the rear axle meets the frame. If you look at their lineups they've been using metal dropouts on many carbon models, including many current ones. Look at the SST and Gran Fondo.
I noticed that too. Do they do that for durability's sake? Cost cutting perhaps? I can't imagine it would make
that much of a cost difference to do it in alloy rather than carbon.
