I got a chance to ride Ventoux in 2003. Actually, I rode up it twice. The first day was terrible weather, especially above the Chalet Reynard. Cold, rain, wind, and fog. Many from the group I was with turned around at the Chalet. The next day, the weather was perfect so I went up again. Both rides were unforgettable! :-)
