I recently put on a Quarq Riken PM on my 6700 Ultegra equiped bike. I also changed the Chain from the Tiagra 10spd to a SRAM PC1091r which has the power link. The shifting up front has gotten pretty bad. It is super finiky now and only shift when gently letting off the power and giving it a few secs to catch the big ring. When I have the hammer down it rubs like hell up front and it sometimes drops the chain to the outside. Sometimes to the inside. That never happened with my 6750 crank.

I took the bike to where I got the PM put on and they adjusted it. it was a little better up front but didnt want to downshift on the back. It doesnt like to shift either up or down if it is a little cross chained on the front. I took it to my LBS somewhere else and they "fixed it" but now it drops the chain to the outside! Really frustrated. The investment was pretty darn chunky and even though I like the new GXP BB and the feel of carbon crankarms i can't take an ill shifting bike...

Please help...
IMHO, it is the stupid SRAM chain. I have had terrible luck with their chains on my Shimano equipped bikes. Switching to a Shimano chain always fixes it.
A chain is cheap, I would try that first.
