I just got an email from Tech Support at Tektro informing me that the CR 720 is not recommended for a 55mm stud center distance.

The Planet X are looking like the best option. It looks like the angle of the brake pad stud can dialed in so that it is nearly horizontal and the pads sit flat against the brake track on the rim. Has anyone installed these and can varify that adjustment?

For the price, I'll probably just buy these and hope for the best.
