Yeah, the method and measurements are sensitive enough that you can't have anyone else on the track at the same time. Were you and your wife testing road bikes or track bikes, and what kind of power meter were you using? I've seen a couple of riders whose CdA appears to improve at high power. In both cases their "baseline" positions were pretty damn good already so they were just getting tweaked. I wondered at the time whether what we were seeing was about the power meter rather than about the rider but I didn't get a chance to dig deeper.

(Disclaimer for those who don't know: I don't have any relationship with either ERO or VSC other than that they've based a business on something I worked on so I'm pleased about that and I've been invited down there a couple times to see how things were going).
We were riding track bikes with an aerobar pursuit cockpit and power tap power meter.
