Bikes: 650B'd '74 Raleigh Super Tourer and '83 Trek 620, '22 Gorilla Monsoon

Hey all, longtime lurker. Finally prepared to show my '85 Miyata Two-Ten after 6 months of adjustments/upgrades/re-thinks:

Basic upgrades/changes are:
-Nitto Grand Rando bars (46cm, I think)
-VO sprung touring saddle
-Front rack (Nitto copy, taken from an Electra bike)
-Tektro RL240 Brake levers (Tan hoods found on ebay for $7, nowhere else could be found)
-Amazon $25 MIC Cree bike light (battery pack goes in the bag)
-Camera bag turned rando bag (lined with leather, and big enough for my U-Lock and bike tools)
-VO hammered fenders (45mm) with DIY leather flap on front fender.
-Crane Suzu bell

Drive-train:
-52/44/28 SR Miyata Signature Crankset (original)
-Used 5 speed Shimano MIJ Freewheel (original MISingapore was too worn down in the high gear sprockets)
-Upgraded to Suntour ARX RD and FD
-Suntour Bar-end Shifters (routed under bar-tape

Wheelset:
-Rear wheel was a CL find (didn't like/need the 40 spoke original wheel) from a 70's Raleigh with DB spokes and Normandy Hub. Unknown rim.
-Front wheel has a Maillard hub and Alesa rim, probably a replacement. The bike had a bent handlebar when I got it, indicating some kind of crash, and that's probably when the wheel was replaced too. Fork checked out ok, though.
Lots of twine/shellac all around. Is it too much? I kinda got hooked on it and started shellacing everything. I do like the shifters wrapped like this, though.

Anyways, this is my daily commuter/only nice road bike, and it's been my baby ever since I got it.

Fully-loaded down like this, it comes out to around 31 pounds, which is fairly heavy, but not bad for a commuter, I think.
