That's a lot for the B-17. If you do a search here you'll see most everyone is of the opinion of the second poster that a B-17 isn't comfortable unless you sit upright. Although RS doesn't have that problem but you'll see that is I think the only exception to all the posts in threads. One good thing is you can buy a Brooks, try it out, and if it doesn't work, sell it for a good price.
I would try one of the other saddles myself for slightly narrower sit bones.
I guess it depends on the definition of "upright." I use B17 select and special models (regular width, not narrow width) and have my saddle about even with the tops of the bars, which gives me a really comfy ride when in the drops on my Nitto Noodle bars. I don't consider that position on the bike all that "upright" but rather just "not slammed." More of a French fit, really.
