Um the spring is in an oil bath. The Judy xc has the "hydracoil" system. From the rockshox site"HydraCoil RockShox suspension system utilizing coil springs and open oil bath damper

It is normal for those to have some springy sounds, like a coil/oil bomber. Or atleast all the ones I have seen or overhauled has made those sounds. Rockshox I believe said to wrap the springs in shrink wrap to lessen the sound. I dont think a little springy sound is to much to put with for the feeling of a coil/oil fork. Do you?
