My goal this year is 2000 and I am up to 1400. Hope the weather holds. In past years I have done 3000 t0 4500 but the season got off to a slow start first with rain then with heat. Its tough to get high mileage when the season is short as it is here in Maine. In the final analysis its the pleasure you get out of any ride although it is fun to set goals sometimes.
I'm sure you will make your revised goal for the year. I got to do a little biking this summer in Maine, in and around Biddeford and Old Orchard. Beautiful area and some of the back road rides were spectacular, with little traffic and nice scenery. I know what you mean about the short riding season but that just makes it more challenging. Btw got to 1900 miles this past week and looking forward to many more before the cold and dreaded snow creeps in. Good Luck!
