There's a statement, seems we're programmed to have so much "need" for new stuff, and so little need for the old.

The rate of destruction of barely-used bicycles must be alarming to many, many people around the globe.

It's all about extracting the money from those who have it I guess.

On the plus side, this is largely about the economic incentive of recycling to support the mass-production of more bikes with little more than the infusion of "mere" energy.
