Show Your Tenax Schwinns!!

I looked but didn't find a Tenax thread, maybe there is one out there.

The mid to late 1980s was a nice era for Schwinns. Probably too late, but they rolled out a number of nice mid level models, many with Columbus Tenax frames. I've had a lot of them over the years, just finished another one. Kind of wish I had some new gum walls, but I needed to use up what I already had in hand.

This one is a nice 1985 Super LeTour. I picked it up from the original owner, who bought it in 1985 at age 53. Still had the original owners manual. It had been sitting a long time, so it needed the typical stuff.

With some assistance here, perhaps we could have a nice Tenax reference thread!

How about posting some of yours?

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
