My 'normal' ride is my 2013 cross check. I picked 'cyclocross' even though it's set up more like a roadie (but on the other hand, is no where near a Madone, etc.). My 'race day' bike is the Bianchi.
The two bikes are set up very similarly in terms of fit. The Bianchi is a touch more aggressive, is a little lighter, and climbs easier (triple crank), and I run 23's on it whereas the Surly has 25's. The Surly, meanwhile is built to tackle long rides on chip n' seal.
I bought the Bianchi when I weighed 255. I built the Surly at 235. I weight 195 today.
