I've been looking into those. For example to ride the new bike to work I if I got clips I would need to carry shoes for work as well as for riding..a PITA. So something like this would seem to add flexibility of not having to do so for shorter rides where you don't feel like breaking out all the gear. Any drawbacks to the dual pedal systems?
