The advantage of the Flo 30's is that they've been tested in the wind tunnel. I don't think anyone has tested the Kinlin XC279 yet although hopefully November Bicycles will at some point with their new FSW23. The rim shape on both wheels is very similar so in theory aerodynamic performance should be close. The main knock against the XC279 is the hefty weight but the Flo 30 rims are even heavier. I also hope Flo offers the 30 with black spokes at some point since I otherwise like the wheels (silver spokes would clash with an all-black bike.)
