I run a Philips SafeRide on high when I'm on the street, about as bright as a car's headlight, plus a reflective safety vest, and reflective tape on the forks. If you look to the left of me in the video, you'll see the car in the left lane nearly slammed into the idiot who cut us both off, so I don't think it's a factor of not seeing me if he didn't see the car to the left of me, too.
