as others have said there are risks with the open mold. warranty being the biggest. the nashbar option would probably solve that issue.

Ive been riding the past 3 years on a pair of open mold chinesse carbon handlebars. they were $60 and kick fat ass. I couldnt be happier. I also have 2 carbon water bottle cages I scored from ebay for like $25. they too perform and look awesome.

I wasnt quite ballsy enough to buy a frame at the time but I very well may for my next build based on my experience with my bars and cages.
