Whoopsie. Never said thanks for your input and wisdom. I appreciate it, and will make sure to throw some "after" pics up here when they're appropriate.

While I haven't done any real work yet, I did take it down to the LBS and have them give it an eyeball just to make sure everything is as I hoped. Sure enough, nothing sneakily trashed and needing replaced. Just the overhaul/tune routine and it should be rockin'.
