It's good you are aware of that. For people who are nervous about carrying and have their license I have them carry without one in the chamber. That allows them to step their way into it and then make a decision. I remember the first time I carried (concealed) I was so hyper aware that if I walked into a restaurant by the time I got to the back I could tell you something about everybody in the whole room. I was a wreck. I was also a much calmer person on the highway because I knew that I now had a responsibility to not allow my emotions to control me. And so on.
