Swaged crank fixie: Problem?

After the theft of my first fixie, I built the second with a swaged crank. It's a pretty nice swaged crank, but I've heard bad things about swaged cranks on fixies.

I haven't had any problems in the few years I've ridden the bicycle, and I do have a front brake, and don't usually skid or ride off road, although I do slow down and stop with my legs. I happen to have taken the cranks off today, and plan to repack the bottom bracket bearings when I get a chance, and perhaps change the cranks. I have two different swaged cranks, one the one that I have been using for the last few years (172.5mm), the other from a Raleigh, which I'm considering trying out, as it's a tad shorter (165mm). The only non-swaged crank I have at the moment is a little long, (175mm), so I'd rather not use it.

Am I taking a significant risk? Do any of you have experiences with swaged cranks failing?
