When I'm out riding, I almost never see anyone with a blinkie. If I do see one, it's usually the 1st generation weak and wimpy kind.
Since I ride in a canyon most of the time and about 1/3rd or more of it is shaded, it's a good idea to do everything you can to be seen and a bright blinkie is just the ticket!
Like you but different. I ride down tunnels of trees on fairly narrow, flat roads so a blinkie makes me feel more visible.
