I will have to find S/N and date codes, but I am seriously wondering if there were two different tubesets at the same time for the 2700, or if there was a just a wholesale move away from the hi ten tubes in 1979-1980?
HI, I have a bike that has your ver 2 sticker , and curved seat stays.
If you flip the bike onto the seat and handlebars, you can read the serial number which is on the bottom of the bottom bracket
My bike starts with Y79 ------
My bike was built in 1979, and purchased in the spring of 1980
