I have ridden everything from 5 speeds to my current 11 speed set up.

I like the extra gears because the added range allows me to maintain a steadier cadence through all kinds of terrains.

Plus I like to try new things, when they come up with 12 speeds, I will try that too.

The cost differential between Campy 10 speed casettes and chains and Campy 11speed was not significant enough to have kept me from going 11 speed.
