I contacted the Lake Champlain Visitors Center, must be close to the Crown Point one.
They allow over-nite parking as long as your parking does not interfere with motor-homes maneuvering through their lot. They also suggested the Walmart lot in Ticonderoga.

As an aside, the woman at the LCVC mentioned they have information and guides for cycling in the area.
