A photo would be handy to evaluate what you actually have. As I suggested, you're probably talking about Cyclotouriste cranks which were made from roughly the 1960s to the mid 2000s, so pretty much any pedal would be period. However, being french cranks designed for cyclotourists, my karma recommendation would be the lyotard platforms.
