Two years later, the speed bump has been removed and replaced with a stop sign near the bottom of the hill. Also, they removed the horrible raised dots that used to line both sides of the street. This has allowed cars and cyclists to co-exist much more favorably. I.E., a cyclist can now easily move to the right to allow a car to pass, and/or cars can move to the right when meeting an oncoming bike and auto . . . without eliciting a jarring cacophony of noise. This is much better. Someone listened and I, for one, appreciate it.
