If/when he actually gets to production and he sees a demand, maybe that will change. Certainly at this stage, it would be a distraction to try and offer too many options when getting to the market.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but it's something of an apples to oranges comparison. Brompton bikes are very good folding bikes; this one is a packable bike.

Regardless of whether or not it makes sense, there is a largely held belief that 20" wheels (or smaller) don't work well. While in most cases, it isn't true, it doesn't change the fact that I think a lot of people who dismiss a Brompton out of hand as a touring bike might find this option a lot more interesting.
