Sucks that the cups aren't included with the purchase of the crank. Makes sense though.

Duno why it would.Chainline is the same. I think you are confusing 'stance'(Q factor) with chainline. Cranks can have the same chainline(position of rings relative to center of downtube of BB shell) but widely different Q which is measured at the pedal hole.
