Just read some the the bike forums. They all have incidents listed that killing with a car, even drunk driving with a car that kills a cyclist gets little more than a wink a nod and usually a slap on the wrist. This is just not right.
I can understand how some people could get a warped and bizarre sense of reality if their idea of

Facts comes mainly from reading some of the Bike Forums without many grains of salt and a great deal of skepticism. Cherry picking the Bike Forum posts that confirm your own opinion and prejudices also is helpful in confirming/reinforcing such beliefs.
